The challenge
The challenge
A financial services organisation was running an end-of-life LMS that could no longer meet the demands of a regulated environment. The business needed a modern, fully integrated learning and competency system that could support regulatory requirements, evidence professional development, withstand FCA scrutiny, and provide a frictionless, intuitive learning experience.
The stakes were high.
Without a reliable, auditable system, the organisation's ability to demonstrate competence and compliance was at risk.
What I did
What I did
I led the project end-to-end, from initial scoping and business case through to supplier selection, procurement, implementation and full integration with existing HR and data systems, as well as the new competency system.
I project-managed the rollout across the organisation, working directly with suppliers to design a bespoke CPD recording tool aligned to both professional body standards and FCA regulatory requirements.
The outcome
The outcome
A fully launched, integrated learning and competency ecosystem that meets regulatory and professional body standards.
The organisation now has a fully auditable record of learning, competence, and CPD, providing the business and its regulators with the evidence and confidence they need. The platform serves as the foundation for delivering learning experiences, providing meaningful upskilling and CPD opportunities for individuals whilst supporting the wider strategic needs of the business.
